Oculus Quest 2 Halo Style Head Strap (like GOMRVR)
In order to extend the usage duration of your Quest 2, adding a power bank to charge the Quest 2 during use is a must have. A 10000mA power bank will keep the usage duration of the Quest 2 to about 6 hours. Here is an EZ battery mount for the integration of the power bank with your Quest 2.
There are two
openings
for USB cable Type-A and Type-C header to "
park
" when they are not connected to the battery. The USB cable won't float around while the battery is charging or away any more.
This battery mount:
1. Works with your
Halo Style Head Strap
to provide an easy way to mount a 10000mA - 13000mA power bank on your Quest 2 (tested and verified with GOMRVR Head Strap).
2. The
battery mount base
is installed at the back of head strap easily (just take out the foam, slide in and put the foam back).
3. Use Velcro hook and loop straps to tighten your
power bank on the battery mount plate
.
4.
Slide
in the battery mount plate into the base
5. Connect USB cable from the power bank to the Quest 2
With our design, you can slide in and take out the power bank in under 5 seconds. You don't have to undo the Velcro straps to insert or remove the power bank from the Quest 2 for charging or other purpose.

to manage the USB cable

The Mount Base and Plate were printed with Overture PETG that is stronger and more durable than regular PLA. Testing was performed with two 10000mA power bank with the dimensions of 5.75"x2.5"x0.5" and 3"x2.25"x1".
The Oculus Quest 2, power banks, USB cable, Cable Clips and Halo Head Straps are not included. This Battery Mount
was designed by our in-house designer.
P.S: PETG prints were more demanding and might have minor imperfect edges or surface but that won't impact their functionality.
