James Pyne clarinet barrel 'clarion' 68mm . Condition is Used.
The barrel is made of hard rubber. Most of the James Pyne barrels feature a tapered bore: 14.85mm upper bore, 14.68mm lower bore on this 68mm barrel. Both tenon fit tight on any common brand mouthpiece/upper joint. Not so sure what the +1 means on the back.
Selling to reduce my barrel collection. Certainly plays great, a focus and big sound. It works fine with a lot of old model mouthpieces that have a higher pitch.
