. This convenient aerosol spray is a durable protective coating that keeps headlights cleaner, offers UV protection, and maintains clarity for up to one year. Defend against UV degradation and keep your headlights clear and looking like new with Keep Clear Headlight Coating.
Tips for working with Meguiar’s Keep Clear Headlight Coating
Be sure perform any headlight cleaning that may be needed first so that each headlight is in new or like new condition before using the headlight coating.
For best results, apply in the shade to a cool headlight.
Clean headlight thoroughly with a glass cleaner to remove dirt, grime and contaminants.
Mask around the headlight before use to prevent overspray from getting on the paint and plastic trim pieces.
If overspray occurs, remove with rubbing alcohol.
Avoid spraying on breezy days.
Shake well before using.
Apply 1 medium wet coat to the entire headlight surface, overlapping the previous pass by 50%.
Let the first coat dry 3-5 minutes, then follow with a second medium wet coat to completely seal the headlight lens.
Repeat this process on the second headlight.
The headlight coating will be dry to the touch in 3-5 minutes, and fully cured within 24 hours.
