When the valve should be replaced?
The G52 Back-Up Valve is a replacement part, not an add-on. If your cleaner is experiencing issues such as getting stuck on edges of the pool or having a hard time turning around, this could be due to a faulty back-up valve. Every 3 minutes the back-up valve will shoot water in the opposite direction that the cleaner is currently heading. This will help the cleaner remove itself from a stuck position. You can test if yours is having issues by watching to see if this is happening and if not it might be time to replace.
