In this listing we have a really lovely nude doll. This doll was released last year as part of the Barbie Princess Adventure doll line. She is a really pretty doll. She has a medium tan skin tone, two toned brown hair with a side part, brown eyes, and bubblegum pink lips. This doll uses the popular Nyssa face mold. She is also on a “petite” body with flat feet. She is articulated at the neck, shoulders, and hips. This doll was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are more muted in person.
This doll is in very good shape. She has never been played with and was just taken out of the box. She does have some minor issues though. The doll’s hair is very nice. It’s still in the original factory set. It did get a little mussed from the deboxing process. It was also a little messy in the box, so she could use some styling help. It’s a little flat in the back. I think with a little work she will looks stunning. There are two plastic tabs still stuck in the back of the doll’s head. The doll’s face pint looks good. When looking closely there does look to be some small chips to her eyebrows, but they are very minor. The doll’s eyes look good. I think her left eye is slightly less focused than her right eye giving her a little dreamier look than most dolls. The whites of the doll’s eyes look a little thin in a couple places. You can see her skin tone through them in a couple spots. The doll’s lips look good. I think they were painted a little thinner than her molded lips On the sides of her mouth her painted lip paint goes into the groove for where her molded teeth are. It’s hard to explain, but I have seen it a lot from Mattel. It’s not a flaw, but a design choice. The doll’s teeth look good, but they did paint them a little high. They are also a bit thin. In the center of them there is a faint horizontal line going through the teeth where you can see the lip paint through the teeth paint. The doll’s body looks good. The doll’s torso looks good. She does have some minor scratches and scuffs to her hard-plastic torso. In a few spots the torso has a more matte finish compared to the shinier finish of the rest of the torso. The doll’s torso is a few shades lighter compared to the doll’s limbs. The doll’s arms look good. They also have some minor scratches to them. The doll’s upper arms have a more textured look to them compared to the lower arm. It’s hard to explain, but the upper arm doesn’t look as smooth as the lower arm. It is smooth, but it doesn’t look it. The doll’s legs look good. She does have the issue where her upper legs have a shiny finish, but around the knees it changes to a matte finish for the lower leg. She does have a few molded in lines to her upper legs. On the back of the doll’s legs she has some weird finish issues, where the plastic looks to have some unusual bumpy texture. It’s just something you can see, but you can’t feel it. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll body and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
